Vitória Airport announces another important resumption of its flight network. After the airport registered the movement record last weekend between October 15 and 19 and received more than 21,000 passengers between boarding and disembarking, it is again operating flights to Congonhas Airport – in São Paulo on November 1.
The return of this route, most awaited by passengers from Vitória, is carried out daily by Gol Linhas Aéreas and LATAM. In addition to this novelty, everyone who travels has a new flight option to Guarulhos Airport, which departs at night.
As a result, the terminal network is expected to grow 35% compared to the month of October, and the volume of passenger flights is expected to recover 66% compared to the same period last year.
According to the CEO of Vitória, Macaé and Florianópolis Airports, Ricardo Gesse, the resumption of flights will be gradual and safe.
“We are committed to creating a safe environment at our airports that will provide our passengers with a peaceful and enjoyable experience and that will give airlines the security of knowing that they will be back in business. The increase in flight offers is directly related to the increase in demand and is excellent as it indicates a recovery in the economy, ”said Gesse.
With the return of flights to Congonhas, Vitória Airport is back in service for eight airports. They are: Brasília, Confins, Congonhas, Guarulhos, RIOgaleão, Salvador, Santos Dumont and Viracopos.
