The Spanish Civil Guard acquires 50 electric vehicles

As part of the CSR, the Civil Guard would like to increase its commitment to environmental protection and, among other things, implement measures to reduce the gas emissions of the vehicles that make up their fleet as much as possible. The 50 vehicles purchased are Nissan LEAF models, all-electric with 40 kW battery, equipped with a specific uniformed transformation (KIT Patrol). Their area of ​​application is aimed at port areas and airports. Charging stations have already been set up in these closed facilities, making them easier to use.

Until the commissioning of this acquisition, the Corps, which was acquired in 2016, had only one vehicle with pure electrical engineering, which was intended to serve as a test bench for units at Adolfo Surez Airport in Madrid.Through the use of this technology during these years, it was concluded that it was in this service sector will be economically and above all ecologically clean. The General Manager Mara Gmez visited the electric vehicle depot that the Civil Guard received.
