The Spanish army is providing 47.5 million euros for the maintenance of their helicopter noticias

Airbus Helicopters Spain will be responsible for the maintenance of the Spanish Army helicopters for the next three years. The Council of Ministers has approved and awarded the conclusion of a framework agreement on the commissioning of the maintenance service and the supply of spare parts for the army’s helicopter fleet in the amount of EUR 47,500,000. In order to ensure operation both in the national territory and in the operational zone, it is part of the application of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs by the manufacturers of the helicopters assigned to the Air Forces of the Army (FAMET). The application of this maintenance includes the purchase of spare parts, documentation and necessary technical support.

The services and supplies that are the subject of this mixed contract, the duration of which can be extended for two more years from formalization to December 31, 2023, are required for the maintenance of the HT-17 Chinook, HU-21 Super, Puma, HT -27 Cougar, HE-26 EC135, HA-28 Tigre and HT-29 NH-90.
