An airplane landed upside down and broke on a vehicle after it fell into a shop parking lot in an aircraft accident.

As can be seen on the accident pictures, the aircraft concerned is registered under the North American registration number N6585L. Data from the US Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) registration system indicates it is a Cessna 152 manufactured in 1980.

Oddly enough, the FAA system also shows that the registration was “de-registered” due to the expiration of its license in September 2013, which may mean the Cessna may have flown without papers.

The FAA screen shows N6585L as “Signed out”.

The US Aviation Authority’s database of aviation incidents indicates that the date of the accident was last Thursday, October 15, in the city of Puyallup, Washington state, and that only the pilot was on board, who had suffered only minor injuries.

The FAA classifies the incident as an “accident” with “significant” damage and describes it as “an airplane crashed in a parking lot under unknown circumstances and hit a vehicle”.

The 53-year-old pilot somehow made it out of this wreck alive after crashing into a car in the finish parking lot in Puyallup while taking off. The owner of the car had just parked and gone into the store with three children. She called it “a blessing on timing”. pic.twitter.com/hgmmzNQvw2

According to information from KIRO 7, the Pierce County Sheriff said the 53-year-old pilot suffered a power outage shortly after taking off from Thun Field airfield.

Also, according to the American television broadcaster, witnesses said that the Cessna 152 was hit on the ground next to the vehicle, then hit it and turned it upside down.
