“Safety when flying during a pandemic” is the theme of the third “AeroTalks”, which will take place on Wednesday, October 21st at 11 am with live broadcast.

The project, carried out by Salvador Bahia Airport, aims to address important issues related to the tourism and aviation market, one of the most affected by the pandemic and, like practically everyone else, adapting to the changes required during this period.

Guests at the chat include: Giovani Palma, Infrastructure Superintendent of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC); Ana Paula Ferreira, Boeing’s director of communications for Latin America; and Diogo Elias, sales and marketing manager at Latam.

The conversation is mediated by Patrícia Abreu and also includes the participation of the operations manager of the Salvador Bahia Airport, Antônio Mendes.

Airlines and airports are deploying various technologies and improving health safety practices against the Covid-19 virus. The most important ones include the filter equipment, which renews the air in the aircraft every three minutes, and the regular cleaning of frequently used areas and surfaces.

“It is very important to solve such problems together,” explains the operations manager of Salvador Bahia Airport, Antônio Mendes. “Not just because there is a new moment in the market where we all go through together, but to give security to those who need our services.”

The channel of Salvador Bahia Airport, on which the third edition of AeroTalks is broadcast live, can be found here. There you will also find the two previous editions of the initiative.
