The aircraft should not fly as fast again, since in the event of a propeller impact – the so-called “propeller blow” – an internal evaluation of the engine components is required. In addition to replacing the damaged propeller itself, it is necessary to remove the motor.

According to the fleet database, EasyFly owns at least 12 other ATR 42 and five ATR 72 aircraft in addition to a BAE Jetstream 41.

As of the time of this writing, there is no information on injuries, either on the aircraft due to the sudden stop or on the ground due to the possible emission of debris from the propeller impact during operation.
