Morocco continues to improve its interoperability with NATO-Noticias

Since Morocco was given “important ally outside NATO” status in 2004. The Moroccan Armed Forces have taken serious and continuous action to bring their teaching, training and combat concepts into line with NATO standards and procedures. In this context, a delegation from the command of the Allied Joint Forces of Naples (JFCNP) visited the command of the 2nd Parachute Infantry Brigade of the 6th Air Force Base in Ben Guerir in Morocco to study their evaluation program for the implementation of this unit for a “Combat Ready “level as a potential contribution to NATO-led operations.

The objectives of the meeting were achieved, according to the Allied Joint Force of Naples. The NATO team, led by the French Colonel François Maréchal, was received by the Moroccan delegation. During the three-day meeting, the 2nd Parachute Infantry Brigade demonstrated the skills acquired, the well-equipped personnel and laid the foundation for the start of the evaluation program.
