GOL starts special vaccine transport service, tests, samples and others

GOL Linhas Aéreas, through its GOLLOG logistics solutions division, announces that it is the first Brazilian airline to introduce an enhanced transport service for medicines, vaccines, tests, samples and examinations, GOLLOG Saúde, in Brazil.

Starting October 15, the company’s base at São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos (GRU), the main hub for shipping goods to other countries, will have a cold room to house the segment’s cargo. need to maintain the temperature until the moment of boarding.

Between April and September of this year, GOLLOG delivered more than 6,000 shipments with more than 300 tons of products, including vaccines, tests, hospital supplies and pharmaceutical products in general.

“We are improving the transport of these items so that we can increasingly serve this segment, which is so important for the Brazilian population, with more quality, mobility and security,” says Rodrigo Ribeiro, Market Manager at GOLLOG.

According to GOL, GOLLOG terminals have a separate area for storing these loads and a team of trained staff in accordance with Anvisa’s best practices. In addition, these materials have priority when loading and unloading the aircraft.
