Ecocopter helps transport vaccines against Covid-19 to remote sectors of the metropolitan area in Chile

At Vitacura Airfield, an Ecocopter AS350 B3 helicopter took off to Buin Hospital with hundreds of vaccines, which will be used to combat Covid-19 for residents of this rural area of ​​the metropolitan area. Called by Chilean helicopter The Ecocopter Company (Achhel) and the Chilean Area Federation have agreed to take part in this historic crusade to give hope to remote parts of Chile.

An aircraft was immediately installed with all the safety and hygiene measures required for the transfer and logistics of operations in the middle of the pandemic. The vaccines were sent from Vitacura airport by the Minister for Social Development, Karla Rubilar, who thanked the airlines involved for their cooperation. On that occasion, other air carriers shipped second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to San Antonio and Los Andes in the Valparaso region. All of this collaboration has enabled the distribution of more than 50,000 vaccines.
