With this aircraft, Azul is completing three Airbus A330-900neo aircraft in its fleet. The total order includes five A330neo aircraft. The pink A330neo is expected to be delivered in the coming weeks.
Announcing the contract, Azul stated that the A330-900neo was important to strengthen the company’s international network for the US and Europe, and that fuel consumption per seat was 14% less than the current aircraft model (A330-). 200 that the company uses).
Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A330neo is offered to airlines in two versions, the A330-800neo and the A330-900neo.
Rolls-Royce’s Trent 7000 is the only available engine for the A330neo, with double the bypass ratio of the Trent 700, which powers the A330ceo. According to Rolls-Royce, the Trent 7000 reduces fuel consumption by up to 10%. For all changes, the reduction should be 15% compared to the previous generation.
The A330neo is also equipped with the new Airbus interior, which has been prepared exclusively for this new generation of the A330neo.
